STUK are beginning to work closely with the Korean Association and we intend our first international competition to be the 2010 Korean International Open. We would like to thank everyone from this association who has assisted us so far. The response we have received has been supportive, helpful and friendly and for that we are extremely grateful.

The deals have been done and most of the results are in. ISTAF and UFA Sports have sold rights to several broadcasters including Eurosport. Sepak Takraw has been broadcast before by channels like ESPN but never before has filming and broadcasting been done on this scale. Add to this the fact that ISTAF has customised the rules to suit a TV audience and you can see why there's a buzz surrounding this upcoming tournament.
