Coaching science students learn to coach Takraw

University of Worcester found the UK Association and got involved. Coaching Science students have been tasked with developing their abilities coaching and understanding Takraw. Opening up the chance for coaching awards to become recognised in the UK.

A member of the coaching science team at the University of Worcester was looking for a new game to challenge their ~50 coaching science students during lectures. In essence over the course of a module (10 weeks or so) they would look to develop their abilities, coaching and understanding the game of Sepak Takraw.

We hope to continue supporting the University of Worcester and maybe introduce Takraw as a sport and club for the students. Potentially paving the way for the first University Takraw league in the UK.

We will be very excited to update this entry once the course has finished and have received some feedback.
