UK Takraw Association website launched

On 3rd June 2009 we launched the UK's very own Association Website - Giving the UK its own resource for Takraw. A social network style website - Connecting the people of the UK with each other and the International Takraw community. Before the launch we acquired a supply of Takraws from reputable suppliers from Malaysia and Thailand, to allow us to be the UK's main distributors of Takraws - Allowing the people of the UK to purchase Takraw equipment and begin to play Takraw.

Our site will also allow people to arrange teams and groups and the matches they want to play and post their own content.. We plan to develop the site and add to the gallery, and hope the UK public do too - sign up and add your own Takraw related posts and content!

With the use of this regularly updated Community site you will be able to create a huge range of opportunities to interact with other Takraw players, arrange matches, view Takraw videos and even upload your own.

Our Objectives:

• To promote Takraw across the entire UK via our friendly and informative Community site
• To aid Sepak Takraw in achieving Olympic recognition and grow the sport within the UK
• Strengthen links with other Sepak Takraw communities through international co-operation and discussion
• Provide support and training to administrators and web-masters of Takraw associations and resources (further information available on request)

This is a user based gallery where you can view and submit images. The default page shows the most recent Takraw related photos (as time goes on we will create other views of our gallery)
